This wiki is designed to help students enrolled in specific English courses through Cisco College to maximize their learning potential. Therefore, some information must be presented and a few groundrules and must be established in order to maximize the effectiveness of the wiki and supplemental instruction.

Information:

  • Use of this wiki is voluntary unless specifically required by your instructor.
  • All users may edit the content of the CCSI wiki. Please edit respectfully.
  • Any edits deemed lewd, rude, or unacceptable will be deleted by the system administrator and the offending editor will have his or her access revoked.
  • All content is viewable only by established and accepted members of the wiki. Members will include, but are not limited to: the system administrator (E. Venturi), students enrolled in assigned English courses, instructors (if requested), and observer guests of the administrator.
  • Information gained by this wiki will be used for academic purposes only and will not be made available to outside sources.
  • Participation in the CCSI wiki and outside supplemental instruction will not be graded by instructors. Therefore, what you say in the wiki stays in the wiki.

Groundrules:
  1. Do not delete any information posted by the system administrator. This information is posted for a reason.
  2. Post respectfully. Your opinion and thoughts are valuable. So are the opinions and thoughts of your classmates.
  3. Do not blame the wiki if you miss an assignment. Information posted is as current as possible. Course assignments scedules are provided by the instructor to the administrator and will be kept as current as possible. However, it is the student's responsibility to ensure that all assignments are submitted on time.
  4. Post information on the correct page. Do not post to a course page if you are not enrolled in the course. Your assignment will not be the same as their assignment. Posting to the wrong page will cause confusion and defeat the goal of the wiki.
